Makin’s® Mask Push Mold #39010
Makin’s® Square 3 Piece Cutter Set #36002
Makin’s® Texture Sheets – Any Patterns
Makin’s® Alphabet Cutter Set #37001
Makin’s® Clay Roller
Makin’s Professional® Tool Kit OR Clay Tool Set
Makin’s® Cutting Mat
Key Chain or Key Ring
Mica Powder

Project Instructions:

Step #1  Roll black clay on cutting mat with roller to approximately 1/8” thick.

Step #2  Use selected texture sheet to apply texture to rolled clay.

Step #3  Use largest square cutter to cut square from textured clay.

Step #4  Use clay tool to make hole in one corner of square for key ring or key chain.

Step #5  Use Mask push mold to mold face from any shade of clay.

Step #6  Apply light coat of Mica Powder to mask.

Step #7  Roll complementary shade of clay to approximately 1/8” and apply texture.  Use Alphabet clay cutter to cut monogram.

Step #8  Mount monogram letter and mask to key chain as desired.  Fresh clay adheres to fresh clay without any additional adhesive.  If needed, moisten with a small amount of water for quick adhesion.  Let dry 24 hours before adding key ring or key chain.

HINTS:  If clay starts to dry during project, just spritz with water and kneed in fingers until soft again.
Set aside the ornament to dry overnight or until clay is completely dry.
