Project Instructions

Step #1 Add about a nickel sized amount of Hauser Green and Kelly Green acrylic paints to white Makin’s Clay®.

Step #2 Mix paint into clay to create a marbled effect.

Step #3 Add about a pea sized amount of Hunter green
acrylic paint.

Step #4 Mix paint into clay to create a marbled effect.

Step #5 Apply a small amount of corn starch to each side of the two texture sheets which will touch the clay.

Step #6 Place ball of marbled clay between the two texture sheets and gently apply pressure to transfer the texture to the clay, flattening the clay to desired thickness.

Step #7 Remove top texture sheet, use circle cutter to cut circle from textured clay.

Step #8 Use a large straw to make a hole in center of clay.

Step #9 Use your finger to smooth any rough edges of hole and outside of the clay edges.

Step #10 Apply Diamond Glaze, let dry.

Step #11 Add red satin cording.

HINTS: If clay starts to dry during project, just spritz with water and kneed in fingers until soft again. Set aside the pendant to dry overnight or until clay is completely dry.
