Retro Café stencil board gothic window

Instructions:

I used the gothic window stencil board as a pattern it is under a glass pane.

You can get the Masonite and just cover the board with clay as well.

Extrude brown clay with the larger disc 1^st 18 about 1 foot. Trim with the flat blade from the professional tool kit.

Place over the pattern and press onto the glass sheet to hold in place. 

Then extrude with the smaller disc # 6 to add the small circles and details. 

To smooth use the medium tip sculpting tool and spray with a little water. 

After the window has dried for 24 hours, gently remove from the glass and glue it on to the Tavoos or mylar sheet.

Let the Beacon’s Tacky Glue cure completely then trim off any excess.

I used a hole in the top to string the window and it is ready to hang on your tree!

Gift Pail

Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here! Today I have a cute gift package created with Makin's Clay®.  This can be used as a souvenir for a party, or just as a sweet little present.

Supplies:

Makin's Clay® - Brown, Red and White

Makin's®

• Roller and Cutters set
• Push Molds - Borders
• Cutter Set - Flower

Makin's Professional®

• Cutting Mat

Beacon Adhesives - Quick Grip Adhesive™
Metal Pail
Paper Straw

Instructions:

Press brown Makin's Clay® into the select the design from the Borders push mold.  Create enough borders to cover the surface of the small metal pail.




Use Quick Grip adhesive to secure the strips to pail, beginning at the bottom and working to the top.   If the strips are too long you can cut them with the scissors. After the second or third loop you will need to paste the end of the strips to have the entire line around the pail.

When the entire pail is covered you can push down with your hands the strips to secure them better and let it dry 24 hours. The pail is ready!

To decorate the pail, I put inside a little bag with candies tied with a linen tread. Then I put inside of the pail a green and white paper straw that I decorated with some flowers that I made with red and white clay.

Use the clay roller to flatten the clay to about 1/8".  Use flower clay cutter set to cut desired number of flowers. Layer smaller flowers over the larger ones.  Fresh clay will stick to fresh clay without additional adhesive.  If adhesive is needed, the Quick Grip will work for this too.  Add a small ball of white clay to the center of the flowers.  Let flowers dry 24 hours.

Glue the flower to the paper straw, add a stamped or hand written sentiment, and insert into the pail with the candies.  Add a little bit of shredded paper to fill in around the candies and your gift package will be ready.

Fall Place Card Holder

20 Gauge Copper Wire

Aluminum Foil

Pliers

Method

Use the wire cutters to cut 12” of the 20 gauge copper wire.  Fold the wire in half.  Hold the loop with the pliers and twist the wire ends together.

Roll the loop into a spiral.

Tear off a 6”x18” or 12”x12” piece of aluminum foil and wad into a ball.

Roll the olive Makin’s Clay® down to a #4 setting using the Ultimate Clay Machine®.  Cover the aluminum ball with the olive clay sheet.

Insert the twisted wire into the ball.

Marble equal parts of merlot and straw clay and immediately press it into the oak leaf of the Leaves Push Mold.  Scrape the clay from around the edges of the leaf.  Smooth the edges once the clay is released from the mold.   Repeat this step with brown and straw clay and then again with plum wine and straw clay.

You should have at least three leaves.

Arrange the leaves around the base of the place card holder.

Insert a place card into the wire.  Now you are ready to add these beautiful place card holders to your table to impress your guests!
