Design Team Member Bea Grob recently shared a tutorial for creating this amazing journal cover using Makin's Clay®.   The collage of details is wonderful, and the tones of the colors are lovely. this piece would translate equally well to a canvas for wall decor.

Owl Journal Cover

Makin's Clay® to the rescue!  Design Team Member Patricia Roberts-Thompson recently shared this unbelievable polymer clay journal cover - WHOOO would not love this?   She had a bit of an issue with her owl eyes after baking - and she needed to replace them.  Makin's Clay® was the perfect answer - she re-did the eye sockets with the clay and then re-set new eyeballs!

Faux Leather Journal

Design Team Member Bea Grob was experimenting a bit with Makin's Clay®. "I wanted to know how flexible it is when it is a little thicker. So I made a cover for another journal. I did roll out at a thickness of about 3mm. I was still able to bend it at the spine. I did start with impressing some patterns with a embossing folder. Well the impression wasn't to great, so I decided to add some paint. While the paint was still wet I did also sprinkle some embossing powders and did heatemboss it. I also added some modellingpaste through a stencil. And it is still flexible."
