Is the texture of Makin Clay like other polymer clay, and does it stay pliable like polymer clay? Or does it dry out and crack like other air dry clay's like "model air, air dry modeling clay". I want to make beads and charms for some of my jewelry designs and my air dry clay dries out and cracks quickly (its a pain to work with) and it's white so I have to paint it. I like the feel of polymer clay, and all the colors I just don't like the baking part. Never turns out quit right.

Hi Linda - Thanks for your interest in Makin's Clay®! One reason I love designing with it so much is that it does remain flexible, and lightweight after drying. It is not brittle, crumbly, does not crack, and isn't fragile like some other no bake, air dry clay products. It truly is professional quality polymer clay - without the baking. It can be molded, sculpted, drilled, sanded, painted, inked, textured, rubber stamped, die cut, the options are almost endless. To blend colors you can mix clay to clay, (there is a mixing guide for some colors on the MakinsClay.com website) or can customize with a small amount of acrylic paint while wet. Please let us know if you have any additional questions about Makin's Clay® or any of the Makin's Brand® products. We would love to see some of your clay work too! - Cindi Bisson
