Materials:

Makin’s Clay® - 60g Black and 60g White 

Makin’s Professional® Ultimate Clay Extruder® - Discs 6, 3

Makin’s®

Closure  

Instructions:

Roll black Makin’s Clay® to about 1/4”.  Use 40mm round cutter to cut disc from rolled clay. 

Extrude black clay using extruder disc #6.  Extrude white clay using extruder disc #6.  

Twist one strand of black and one strand of white clay.  Begin rolling the twisted clay into a tight coil on top of the black disc.   If needed, created another twisted strand and continue coil until the entire disc is covered.  

Extrude black clay with disc #3.   Add 3-in-1 Adhesive and mount to outside of disc.  

Roll scrap black clay to a little more than 1/8” thick and cut a strip about 3/8” x 2”.   Add a touch of adhesive to one end and mount to the back top edge of the disc.  Fold over and mount the end on the front to create bail. 

Let dry 24 hours.   

Add black satin cording and closure.
