Extruded Tassels in Metals Pendant by Amanda Phillips

Design Team Member Amanda Phillips is sharing this great Extruded Tassel pendant with us today.   We love the combination of extruded Makin's Clay® and metallic seed beads. 

It is that time of the year and as we all scramble out the door for some holiday spirits!  It can be hard to find that right matching piece or maybe even a quick gift!

Here is a quick tutorial on how I created this pendant:

Materials:

 Makin's® Ultimate Clay Extruder™ and the #8 disc

120g Black Makin's Clay® 

22" chain 

1 cord end/cup finding

6/0 czech glass seed beads

1 jump ring

Beacon™ Tacky Glue 

Extrude the black clay, allowing it to curl as you extrude Cut every 4" or so and lay out pieces to dry. I have a total of 30 strings with beads.

Bead your extruded clay strings, cut even and glue all at once into the cord cup. Allow to dry over night.
