Design Team Member Darleen Bellan shares this fabulous "Eye of the Dragon" pendant sculpted from Makin's Clay®. Darleen said this piece was inspired from the dragons in the popular series Game of Thrones.
"I started this project with a glass cabachon and used multi-surface acrylic paints to color the eye. It can be a bit tricky because you have to paint in reverse order on the flat back of the glass! While that was drying, using white Makin's Clay®, I sculpted a dragons skin and spikes into the base of a metal pendant tray. I then took the dried glass eye and placed it on the pendant and completed the sculpting adding eyelids and texture. Once the piece dried, I used assorted acrylic paint colors to complete the piece."
