Design Team Members Carole Monahan and Patricia Krauchune recently attended the Klay Karma event at at Rivier University in Nashua, NH. Participants had a great time sharing their love of polymer clay with each other. While at the event, Carole shared a demonstration with the group about Makin's Clay® and some of the many creative tools Makin's® offers, including the new Drill Adaptor for the Makin's Professional® Ultimate Clay Extruder®. Carole shared some samples of her projects created with Makin's Clay®, and Patricia Krauchune also brought the two airships she created and her most recent Steampunk bug project, which she passed around for participants to get a chance to feel the lightweight and flexible, yet sturdy, nature of the clay.
Makin's Clay® donated a Makin's Professional® Ultimate Clay Extruder® and new Drill Adaptor Tool were raffled off and the lucky winner was thrilled as his extruder had finally given out after 15 years! Carole tells us "Sherman, the winner, works with Pen State Pens in rolling out (pun intended) an entire new line of polymer clay pens and premade canes, so the extruder is very much needed."
Thank you Carole and Patricia for serving as excellent Makin's Clay® Ambassadors and helping spread the word about the broad range of applications of Makin's Clay® with the attendees!
