BOUQUET OF PINWHEELS
Designed by Steph Ackerman
Supplies:
Makin's Clay® - Red, Brown, White, Earth Tones
Makin's® Clay Mixing Ruler
Makin's® Roller and Cutters Set
Makin's® Professional Cutting Mat
Makin's® Texture Sheets - Set H
Beacon® 3-in-1 Adhesive
Instructions:
Using the roller, roll out the clay until the desired thickness is reached. Use the Mixing Ruler and Makin's® Square Clay Cutter Set to create the squares. Alternatively you could use the cutters to create 2" squares for the smaller pinwheels and 2 1/2" squares for the larger pinwheels.
Create as many pinwheels as you need mixing colors and designs. Use Set H Texture Sheets to create dimension on several of the pinwheels. Be sure the texture is on the exterior as you fold them. Once all the pinwheels have been folded, add small balls of clay to the centers to hold the pinwheels together. Pinch the edges of several pinwheels to create more visual interest.
Wrap the pinwheels in tissue paper and tie with ribbon. A perfect alternative to flowers don't you think?
Thanks for stopping by today.
