Sizzix 38-0218 Leaf #1 die (sorry but this one's an oldy but goody - not on the current Sizzix website)
Judikin's Diamond Glaze
Beacon® Tacky Glue
Westcott® Titanium Bonded Non-Stick Scissors
Chipboard, white texture paint, foam tape
Instructions:
Apply texture to rolled clay by placing texture sheet onto clay sheet and rolling with hand roller with light pressure. Let dry.
Retaining 3 leaves whole for later use, cut leaves into individual pieces to resemble mosaic tiles.
Cut frame from chipboard using Big Shot™. Use Tacky Glue to mount mosaic leaves onto backing board of frame, with space between each piece to resemble mosaic tile.
Apply JudiKins Diamond Glaze to each leaf. Let dry.
Apply a coat of white texture paint over leaves to fill in around leaves and resemble grout. Wipe paint off leaves with slightly damp paper towel before it dries.
I hand applied a small amount of brown clay around the outer edge of the tiled backing to hide the edge and give a more finished look.
Roll brown clay on #5. Apply tacky glue to front square of frame. Mount clay, then texture with texture sheet. Apply layer of Diamond Glaze.
Mount photo to back of small brown frame and mount with dimensional foam tape until it is approximately 1/4" off back tiled frame.
Coat 3 accent leaves with Diamond Glaze, let dry then mount to corner of frame as accent.
