Metallic Leaf Necklace

This amazing piece was designed by Judy Belcher.  I think it is a stunning example of the many aspects that make Makin’s Clay® perfect for jewelry.   The hand crafted leaves are lightweight so the finished piece is not bulky to wear.  Intricate veining is etched into each leaf. The clay dries flexible, so the possibility of pieces of the leaves breaking off are lessened.  Makin’s Clay® takes a number of finishes beautifully - including iridesent metallic pigment powders like those used to add shimmer to these leaves.  - Cindi Bisson
