  • Cutting Mat
  • Ultimate Clay Machine®
Makin's®
  • 3 Pc. Clay Cutters-Bulb Ornament, Water Drop, Triangle

Blade – to cut clay
Paper/Pencil
Water-Paintbrush
Acrylic paint-cheek color
Beacon Adhesives 3-in-1 Adhesive™

Instructions:

Gather all materials.

Mix together Light Adobe and Merlot clay thoroughly.  Set aside and cover with damp paper towel.
Starting at setting #1, roll Natural clay through the Ultimate Clay Machine® on setting #1.  Repeat on setting #2.   Wrap around bulb, front and back.

Sketch out a face on paper.  Cut out the face and place over the top of the blended clay.  Use a sharp blade to cut out.  If clay on the bulb has started to dry, lightly moisten with water.  Place face on bulb and press gently to adhere.  Fresh clay will stick to fresh clay without additional adhesive.

Starting at setting #1, roll Adobe Brown clay through the Ultimate Clay Machine® on setting #1.  Repeat on setting #2.   Cut eye slits using the water drop clay cutter and adhere to face.  Use a triangle clay cutter to cut the nose, and three smallness for the mouth.  Adhere to face.

Cut ears using the large and small bulb ornament clay cutters.  Cut the large out of the mixed clay, and the small out of the natural.  Layer on top of each other.

Use Beacon 3-in-1 adhesive to adhere ears.  Add cheek color using watered down paint.

Add hanger and enjoy!
