Hi everyone, it's July and the heat is rising.  This month's challenge is to create our own colors of clay by mixing it with paint.   Steph Ackerman here today with a fun altered sailboat wall hanger.

Supplies:

                         - Sea Shells Push Mold

Instructions:

Paint the boat red.

Add blue paint to white clay and mix till you get the color you like.

Using the Sea Shells Push Mold, create sea shells and fish.

Create a water line by adding clay to the bottom of the boat.

Add fish to the right side of the boat.

Adhere mesh and some shells to the left side of the boat.

The clay remains flexible, so it's easy to form the shells to meet your needs.

Create the sails by rolling out white clay with the roller.

Use the Cutter to cut the clay into shape.

Use the Chisel to add lines to the sails.

Cut a small amount of blue clay and form into a pennant shape.

Adhere to the top of the sail.

Wet clay will adhere to wet clay so no adhesive is necessary.

There are so many options for creating with Makin's Clay®.  Why not give it a try today?

Thanks for stopping by.
