Creating Artist Trading Cards (ATC's) with Makin's® Clay is is quick and easy to do and gives a great texture to them without adding bulk since you can roll the clay out as thin as paper.
For this ATC I rolled out Black Makin's® Clay paper thin and let it dry....The reason you let clay dry before creating an ATC is that there is some shrink to the clay and an ATC has to be exactly 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". If the clay curls up a bit, simply place a book on it to flatten it out.
For the small squares on the side I used a package Earth Tone's Clay and rolled out the colors I wanted paper thin using texture sheets to give them texture and the small square clay cutter to form the squares.
I also rolled out the clay for the words paper thin, let the clay dry and stamped words on them, then I cut out the words and glued them onto some magic mesh and attached to the ATC.
So Quick and Easy!
