  • Round Clay Cutter Set
  • Halloween Cutter Set – Bat and Cat
8 x 10 Mat with 5 x 7 Opening
Blue card stock
Chalk
Stormy Sky Distress ink
Scissors
Beacon™ 3 in 1 Adhesive
Distress Tool
Pencil

Instructions:

Take mat out of package and using a pencil make a corner mark in each corner on the cardstock.
Set aside.  Sponge the white mat with a bit of blue ink to add shading & shadow.

Use mat to decide where to mark
Mark with a pencil
Roll out clay using clay roller.

Using the bat and the cat cutters from the Halloween Cutter Set, cut out 2 bats and 1 cat.

Roll clay flat
Cut with cutters
Cut a round moon
Mix together yellow clay, and a bit of persimmon, for
the moon. You can just use yellow if you want your moon brighter.

Cut out using round clay cutter.

Roll out brown clay and use your wheel cutter to cut pickets for fence and a wider piece for tree. (Later, I used a scissors to get greater detail in tree and fence posts).

Roll brown clay
Cut your tree elements
Using regular chalk board chalk, I smudged it to look like clouds and fog on the card stock.
I also used it on the moon.

Using Beacon 3 in 1 Adhesive, put together your scene.

Chalk your background & moon
Mount elements on background
That’s it! You now have a spooky scene to pop into a frame and hang or set on a table!
