Hair Pin for Summer by Martha Lucia Gomez

HAIR PIN FOR SUMMER

by Martha Lucia Gomez

Hi everyone, Martha Lucia here with you. Today I want to share a hair pin that I made using a mixed of colors of Makin's Clay®. I chose my colors from the Multicolor Package: Yellow, Red and White that I think are great for summer season.

Product list:
Instructions:

Take three colors of your choice and divide each package in half. Take each part and smooth it with your hands to mix all the three colors. Then with the roller create an uniform layer. If you want you can pass these layers through the Ultimate Clay Machine™. I began on setting #1 and moved up 1 setting at a time to number 3.

Take the layer and cut a square using the small square cutter. With a blade, cut another square on the center about 1"x1". And set this piece aside for a while.

To create the pin, you can will need a wood pick stick and you can use the left overs of the mix of clay. You only need to take the size of the pick stick and cut this more longer and wide. Then tie the clay around the pick stick and secure it with your hands on the points.

To give the form to the hair pin until it is totally dry you can put inside of this a paper towel.

After the hair pin is totally dry, you can start to use your hair pin and enjoy the summer! Thanks for stopping by today! Martha Lucia
