Last week I shared how to create a Stamped Clay Heart for a necklace....

 

Here is another version...

This one is made the same way as the one last week, 

but I added a layer of Limelight Crafter's Ink lightly...

the texture of the pink stamped image still shows through

which is a cool effect!

Stamped Makin's Clay® Heart Necklace

You can create just about anything with Makin's Clay® which makes it such an amazing product...

 Here is a perfect Valentine's Day Necklace....that is Quick and Easy to make!

Supplies:

• Makin's Clay®, White
• Makin's Clay®, roller
• Makin's Clay®, medium heart cutter
• Ann Butler's Crafter's Ink, Berry
• Ann Butler's Background Basics, Picnic
• Beacon Adhesives Dazzel Tac
• Jewelry Bail
• Head Pins, 3
• Eye Pin, 1
• Beads, assorted
• Silk Ribbon
• Scissors
• Plastic wrap

• Roll clay out to 1/4".

• Stamp into clay with Berry ink.
• Place plastic wrap over clay, use heart cutter.  By using plastic wrap you have a nice rounded edge to the clay, giving it a nice finished edge.
• Ink up the edges of the heart with Berry.

 

• Thread beads onto the head pins and make a loop at the top.

•  Open the loop of the eye pin and place the beaded pins onto it.
• Use the eye pin to place a hole into the bottom of the heart, glue into place.
•  Glue heart to bail.  Let dry.
• Thread ribbon through the bail.

Scrapbooking with Makin's Clay® for Valentine's Day

Scrapbook layouts do not have to be complicated 

or take forever to create....

This Valentine's Day layout was created Quick and Easy...

• using a 12" x 12" piece of red card stock for the base.
• A piece of black card stock was layered with red and black again to hold a photo and glued off centered onto the card stock.
• White Makin's Clay® was rolled out and the heart cutters used to create hearts in a variety of sizes.
•  Tiny hearts were glued to the corners of the layered photo mat.
• Two hearts were glued to the bottom right corner.
• 5 open hearts were glued over a piece of ribbon and down the left side.
• White clay was extruded from the Makin's Clay® Ultimate Extruder and used to write the words True Love with was glued on as shown in the photo.
